馃惇 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso Gearbox Fault Message

Today I got in the car and switched it on and various messages appeared on the multifunction display indicating the braking system was faulty ( ESP/ASR fault) as well as a message that the gearbox was faulty. I looked at the fault codes from the ECU and there was a pending U1113 fault. Looking on this site the U1113 code means there is a Mar 26, 2016 路 Check with Citroen dealer and see if there is a software patch to rectify it, even my old 2006 Jeep has a patch available to aid with 1st to 2nd changes. If Citroen can't help then perhaps a remap of the gearbox is possible, I haven't looked into it as my wife drives ours daily and she hasn't complained or noticed it surprisingly!
Location: Hove. IIRC it goes something linke this: -. Get the engine warm. Find a flat, safe straight piece of road & stop. Make sure the selector is in A. Floor the accelerator fully - past the kick down stop & keep it there until it hits 3rd gear. REMEMBER: BE SAFE! it's a big car & really shifts from a standstill!

Lexia session was ran - no major problems.. except the gearbox. It showed three faults: P1800 Gearbox initialisation incomplete or not performed. Status - Temporary. However, the automatic gear change between 1 and 2; 2 and 3 is slow, so much so, that I change to manual for these gears and then switch back to automatic when in 3rd. Basically when it decided to change, the revs drop substantially while it changes and is slow to pick up again. Sep 27, 2022 路 recently been having a few headachy problems with my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 09 Auto. Firstly whilst driving I was getting a ESP ABS faulty/ parking brake faulty , which would result in the Automatic gear changing stopping. So it would automatically change gears up to 3 but wont not change above that, the paddles didn't work.
